The ten deadly
recruiting blunders

Failure to reach the best job candidates. Quick: when was the last time you looked through "help wanted" ads for a better job? Likewise, the best people for your key opening aren't looking around either.

Ads and employment agencies can be effective, but they only reach ten to fifteen percent of people capable of filling your position. You need to check out the 85% who don't spend their free time job hunting.

Two ways to go: set aside a few weeks and stay on the telephone until you've found the people you're looking for. Or have somebody else do the job for you.
